La Finca Golf introduces new tee markers with numbers instead of colours. 

With the aim of offering a more personalized and inclusive playing experience, La Finca Golf has replaced the traditional tee markers with a numerical system, aligning itself with the latest international golf trends.

In its constant commitment to innovation and the latest trends in the sector, La Finca Golf —located within La Finca Resort, an exclusive complex on the Costa Blanca (Alicante) and part of the Grupo Pemar — has implemented a system of tee marks based on numbers, replacing the traditional colours. This measure aims to offer a more personalised and accessible playing experience, allowing players to choose between five different courses, adapted to their abilities and preferences. With this new layout, golfers can select the tee that best suits their hitting distance, regardless of their age, gender or level of play.

This system, already popular in Nordic countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, as well as other European countries, is based exclusively on the distance the player wishes to cover in each round. The only recommendation is that the golfer chooses his tee according to the average distance he reaches with his driver, thus promoting a more pleasant experience tailored to the needs of each player.

In line with this global trend, La Finca Golf adopts the approach of the United States, where the “Tee It Forward” programme, promoted by the PGA of America and the United States Golf Association (USGA), advises players to choose their tee according to the average distance they achieve with their tee shot. The goal is to maximise the enjoyment of the game, promoting a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all.
