Grand Final of the 1st Edition of the Circuit LA FINCA RESORT - FAJOVI CHALLENGE 2020

On September 12 and 13, the final of the first edition of the Circuit La Finca Resort - Fajovi Challenge 2020 took place.

Is a new circuit in the province of Alicante and the Valencian Community that makes its debut with great prizes and 3 golf courses in the best possible conditions, as the players themselves have stated.

Trials have been held at the three golf courses of La Finca Resort: La Finca Golf, Las Ramblas Golf and Villamartín Golf. Thus, the participants disputing three indistinct categories and the first five of each test in each category qualifying for the final. The first five of the regularity who disputed the three tests have also qualified for the final.

The finalists were able to enjoy staying the weekend at our 5* Hotel La Finca with their companions and after playing the first test on Saturday they were honored with a tasting at La Bodega de La Finca, a new space of La Finca Resort that was inaugurated on the occasion of this final. The “D.O. Pago Guijoso” wines delighted those present.

Our golfers played with a renovated course and perfect greens, the rough not very high and the bunkers with the same type of sand. All the anti-covid protocols required by the health authorities adopted and with the expectation of testing, at the same time, the hole 16, redesigned and restored. An impressive par 3 that after the reform is, without a doubt, one of the flagship holes of La Finca Golf.

The day on Saturday grouped the players into games of three and by handicap; and the “golfdirecto” application was used to know the results online and make the tournament more exciting.

On Sunday the games were made according to the classification, and if the day before the online application was interesting, on this second day it was more than exciting.

Hole by hole followed the changes in the scoreboard and the evolution of colleagues and friends who were trying to reach the top positions, some did so on the last hole.

Once the test was finished, the awards ceremony was presented by Salvador Lucas, Golf Director at La Finca Resort, who thanked the players and sponsors for their participation in this circuit.

There was also a raffle among those present where there were fantastic prizes such as: a bag of Callaway clubs, a 3-wheel golf cart, a Spa circuit voucher for two people, a dinner in our Frijolino Restaurant also for two, free green fees in La Finca, Las Ramblas and Villamartín, etc

All qualifiers also received La Finca Resort trophy. A piece of methacrylate that collects the imagotype of our logo that is the design of a tile, expression of something very ours, a Mediterranean identity of the artisan essence.
