The soul of Día de Muertos: a tradition that inspires

In Mexico, Día de Muertos is one of the most cherished celebrations. Every 1 and 2 November, families prepare altars adorned with flowers, candles and offerings to honour loved ones who have passed away. At Frijolino, we’ve brought that essence to the Mediterranean and turned it into a unique sensory experience, where gastronomy, music and emotion come together under the soft glow of candlelight.

This year, we invite you to enjoy a different kind of Halloween at La Finca Resort with a Mexican-themed dinner full of flavour and emotion, taking place exclusively on 31 October and 1 November at 8:00 p.m. For two magical nights, Frijolino is filled with the warmth and colour of Mexican tradition, offering:

A menu to awaken all the senses

The Halloween tasting menu blends the most authentic ingredients of Mexican cuisine with contemporary techniques to create a truly sensory experience.

Each course is designed to surprise the palate and evoke the colours, aromas and emotions of this ancient celebration, in an intimate, immersive and deeply atmospheric setting.

• 8:00 p.m. “WELCOME TO THE THRESHOLD”. The main dining room opens like a gateway to the sacred, beginning the ritual with the cocktail “The Call” and cochinita pibil croquettes.
• 9:00 p.m. “FIRST OFFERINGS”. Homemade guacamole with totopos and octopus ceviche in serrano chilli aguachile.
• “THE BANQUET OF SOULS”. A shared feast featuring pork belly, marinated beef, chipotle prawns, cochinita pibil, corn rice and beans, avocado purée, pico de gallo, corn tortillas and spicy salsas.
• “DEATH BY CHOCOLATE”. A final offering reminding us that even death can be celebrated with sweetness.
